Rent Your Next Apartment With A Text: RadPad’s Mobile App Can Make It Happen!

October 16, 2013 By LBSzone

Photo-based rental platform introduces instant messaging feature and verified lister profiles, helping apartment hunters avoid scams… With RadPad’s updated app, (apartment) “hunters” can leverage Quick Message, an instant messaging platform to directly communicate with property owners, making it easy to ask questions and set up viewings.
LOS ANGELES, Oct. 16, 2013 — RadPad (www.onradpad.com), the first photo-based mobile rental marketplace, announced the latest release of its mobile app. With apartment rentals on the rise across the nation, the Venice-based startup introduces new features to help renters find the apartment they want easily.

With RadPad’s updated app, (apartment) “hunters” can leverage Quick Message, an instant messaging platform to directly communicate with property owners, making it easy to ask questions and set up viewings. RadPad also adds Lister Profiles, creating a brand page for property owners to create a profile and show all of their listings. The app allows property owners to upload videos for a convenient virtual tour.

“We’re creating features to help make the entire experience of renting easier, safer and to be honest, just a lot more fun,” says Jonathan Eppers, CEO of RadPad. “Quick Message is a lot like text messaging. Renters can send messages to a property right through our app, which makes the experience feel more instant. It’s really designed for the renter on the go. In the first week alone, we sent over 12k quick messages to property owners through RadPad.’

RadPad has launched in 14 cities across the country, including: Austin, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Houston, Los Angeles, Orlando, Portland, San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle and Washington D.C. The app already features curated photos of listings, a location-based search that helps ‘hunters’ find apartments wherever they are, and verified listings to filter out potential scammers.

To include the best listings, RadPad has partnerships with more than 25 rental services that provide high quality listings, including the MLS, WayPoint Homes, Apartments.com, Sublet.com, AppFolio and Property Solutions.
