Panasonic announced on Monday a new addition to its Toughpad line up of rugged tablets. At the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, the company introduced the new 7-inch Toughpad FZ-M1, a thin, rugged tablet.
It runs Microsoft Windows 8.1 Pro and will come with a high-end Intel processor. It meets all the typical rugged specifications and works in high or low temperatures. The tablet is also shock and drop resistant, which executive Rance Poehler demonstrated by tossing the tablet off the stage during Panasonic’s press event at CES 2014.
