Time for another weekly edition of the LBSzone Social Location Alert Newsletter -From the newsletter… recall that I’ve mentioned on several occasions that I’m working with an awesome 27″ HP All-in-one workstation, well, just yesterday at CES HP announced the next addition to the Z family, enter the Z1 G2 with touch! Speaking of cool, perhaps you think the digital camera is dead (thanks to the cell phone), however, Samsung has just announced their Android powered Galaxy Camera 2 which features an 1.6GHz Quad Core processor and the Android platform – very nice (PS: my daughter has the 1 and it’s a sweet little device).

Finally, our friends in Montana at GCS have announced today that GCS is to Develop Big Data Business around IBM Watson – they’ve hired Rob Kinnear as Director of Strategic Partnerships (See More). Have a great day all and don’t forget to check out my most recent edition of 5 Things

Juniper Systems’ Allegro MXT Selected for Invasive Fish Removal Program – Juniper Systems’ Allegro MXT was recently selected by the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources (DWR) for an invasive fish removal program. One particular DWR field crew used the rugged handheld, loaded with custom fisheries software, to monitor native fish species and remove invasive fish along the Green River, near scenic Dinosaur National Monument in 2013.
