Android 4.4.3 Kitkat OS Update Rolls Out in Mid-April to Nexus 5, 7 and Google Play Edition Devices

April 9, 2014 By LBSzone

The Android 4.4.3 Kitkat OS update was expected to roll out in mid-April to Nexus 5, Nexus 7 tablet and Google Play Edition devices. Android 4.4.3 KitKat has leaked several times online and The Bitbag reported that its official release may happen in mid-April for LG Nexus 5, ASUS Nexus 7 and HTC One Google Play Edition. The new Kitkat OS update is designed to fix the bugs in the 4.4.2 version of the Kitkat OS, including a major bug called ‘mm-qcamera-daemon’, which causes the camera to work in the background processes. The bug also drains the battery and uses a huge amount of power due to high CPU usage regardless if the user is using the camera or not.
