Indiegogo’s Most Successful Wearable Campaign Coming to an End, Giving Consumers One Last Chance to Purchase Groundbreaking Helmet
SAN FRANCISCO– SKULLY (www.skullysystems.com) is in the home stretch of its record-breaking Indiegogo campaign for the AR-1, the world’s first augmented reality motorcycle helmet. The campaign, which began on August 11th, 2014, will come to an end on October 9th, 2014, giving potential customers just hours to be among the first to own a SKULLY helmet. The preorder campaign was a success right out of the gate as the company reached its $250,000 goal in just eight minutes. In 45 hours, sales surpassed $1 million, making it the fastest Indiegogo campaign to reach the $1 million-dollar milestone. The campaign was then extended in September due to global demand, and sales have since surpassed $2.2 million, resulting in the SKULLY campaign being the most successful wearable campaign in Indiegogo history.
