TomTom Telematics Acquires Fleetlogic, Leading Dutch Fleet Management Service Provider

AMSTERDAM– TomTom (TOM2) today announced its Telematics business has acquired Fleetlogic, one of the leading fleet management service providers in the Netherlands.

“The fleet management market in the Netherlands is an important and fast growing market in Europe”

The acquisition strengthens TomTom Telematics’ position as the market leader in the Netherlands and in Europe.

“The fleet management market in the Netherlands is an important and fast growing market in Europe,” said Thomas Schmidt, Managing Director TomTom Telematics. “Adding the experience of Fleetlogic in enterprise fleets and government sales, we now address the full potential of this growing market.”

This acquisition includes the companies TripXs and Inalise and adds 27,000 subscriptions to the TomTom Telematics installed base. The total installed base of TomTom Telematics now consists of more than 450,000 vehicles.

No further details of the acquisition are disclosed.
