An very interesting and useful read from Forbes on local ads from Facebook…
From Forbes…
Last October, Facebook announced the release of Local Awareness ads, enabling businesses to harness the geographic location of users. These ads have the ability to target consumers not only where they live, but around where they are. According to Facebook’s Q3 reports, an average of 703 million users visited the site daily from their mobile devices in the month of September 2014; this steady stream of mobile visitors offers a plethora of location-based targeting data to fuel the site’s newest offering. The primary targets for these ads are mobile users within a radius of a given location. The question becomes, how can brands harness location data to better target and drive sales in their stores using Facebook Local Awareness ads?
