a Special Open Analyst/Expert Roundtable August 12 at Flash Memory Summit

Santa Clara, CA – July 31, 2015 – Five of the industry’s leading industry analysts and experts are coming together to outline the opportunities and challenges in making wearable and mobile devices an integral part of our personal and business lives in the years ahead. Focused on moving beyond the smartphone, watch, fitness band, glasses and headsets; the Wearable/Mobile Roundtable will begin at 4:30 p.m. August 12 at the Flash Memory Summit (FMS) being held at the Santa Clara Convention Center.

While Apple and Google dominate the standalone smartphone/tablet markets, the panelists will help event attendees make sense of the technology that is only in its early stages of growth.  The panelists will discuss the state-of-the-industry when it comes to devices, applications, killer solutions, safe/private storage and instant/reliable availability of information for the user and authorized individuals.

Moderated by Brian Zahnstecher, of PowerRox, the special session will be open at no cost to registered FMS 15 attendees. The panelists include:

As the industry evolves, there will also be fitness bands, necklaces, rings, glasses, headsets and a wide array of devices, solutions and applications that will reshape the way individuals and organizations store, retrieve and interact with personal data.

The panelists will explain the barriers and interactive availability of this information for mainstream applications.  They will also discuss screen size, clunky style, limited battery life, killer apps, robust information/storage security and privacy as well as the constant/instant data availability that will drive personal and organization adoption.

The day’s closing roundtable panel discussion is one of four of the special Wearables/Mobile Day sessions. For more information on the 4:30 p.m. roundtable and all of the seminars and sessions, visit http://www.flashmemorysummit.com/English/Conference/Seminar_Session_Descriptions.html
