September 1, 2015 By LBSzone

Featured Keynote Speakers Include Astronaut Col. Chris Hadfield, Execs from Google, Samsung

MISSISSAUGA, Ontario — September 1, 2015 — SOTI SYNC 2015, the inaugural conference for users and partners of SOTI Inc.’s enterprise mobility management (EMM) and bring-your-own device (BYOD) solutions, will feature mobile tech luminaries including Canada’s first astronaut to spacewalk, executives from Google and Samsung, and SOTI CEO Carl Rodrigues.

Themed “From Mobility to Endless Possibilities,” the conference takes place November 2 to 4, 2015 in Toronto, and will explore trends in enterprise mobility management (EMM) and the burgeoning enterprise opportunities of moving beyond EMM to unified endpoint management (UEM). Participants will have the opportunity to learn best practices from industry leaders and global enterprise brands, focused on the fast-moving mobility trends that are changing how organizations do business and drive competitive differentiation. By exploring the new, ultra-connected landscape IT professionals must prepare for and support, SOTI SYNC will focus on today’s mobile-first, IoT era.

SOTI SYNC includes a first-class lineup of speakers and industry experts:

  • SOTI CEO and Founder, Carl Rodrigues, will unveil visionary perspectives on the future of the connected enterprise as users, processes, smart objects, and mobile form factors expand and further converge.
  • Col. Chris Austin Hadfield, well-known as the first Canadian to walk in space, complete two space shuttle missions and serve as commander of the International Space Station, will discuss his journey as the first astronaut to harness mobility and social media to make outer space accessible to millions on earth.
  • Google’s Andrew Toy, Director of Product Management, will share insights into the next frontier for changing the world through the workplace.
  • Renowned industry analyst and author, Maribel Lopez of Lopez Research, will lead a panel discussion on the journey to mobile business transformation, featuring panelists from American Airlines and Peninsula Hotels.

At the conference, mobility experts, industry peers, and market influencers will take participants through: deep dive sessions, hands-on training in technical labs, industry tracks, customer panels, best practice sessions, and networking opportunities. Participants will get a glimpse of future innovation in their industries, and come away with trailblazing strategies for the mobility direction their organizations should be considering moving forward.
