WhatsApp took to the media to announce that its users will finally be able to transfer their chat history between the Android and iOS devices, but it will be starting with the Samsung Galaxy smartphones.
Although this feature was already accessible to WhatsApp Beta users, the transfer option will now be made available to every user, but it seems it will be requiring nothing less than a cable.
WhatsApp is known as one of the most popular messaging apps across the world, and it is also the most used in countries like India and Brazil. But the messaging failed to invent a way to transfer chats from one device to another if they’re based on two different operating systems and best American online casino wanted one for a long time now.
This makes it difficult for some people to migrate from one operating system to another, as they won’t be able to transfer their chat history easily. WhatsApp is now developing a solution for this problem, but it’s not as easy as it sounds.
The first thing you’ll need to keep in mind is that this process will only work from iPhone to Android, not vice versa. Only the Galaxy smartphones could take on this new option, so even if you have a high-end Android phone, you still won’t be able to transfer your conversations to other smartphones.
Another thing concerning this transfer is that it requires a Lightning to USB-C cable. This also means that it is still impossible to transfer your WhatsApp backup between Android and iOS wirelessly.
