AmigoCloud is proud to announce the release of its new Mobile GIS product suite

June 30, 2014 By LBSzone

San Francisco, CA based startup, AmigoCloud is proud to announce the release of its new Mobile GIS (Geographic Information Systems) product suite.

Built from within a proprietary, geospatial mobile and web based architectures, AmigoCloud is focused on providing high precision mobile and web GIS mapping software products. By empowering the user with no signal or data connectivity, AmigoCloud provides offline GIS/GPS data collection, GIS data conversion, vectorized maps and a feature rich Geospatial Database. This powerful Enterprise Cloud architecture allows mobile GIS users to synchronize with any ESRI Geodatabase or Spatial Database of their choice, thereby immediately updating all connected devices from AmigoCloud.

Discussing the features and developer driven API, CEO Ragi Burhum explains the key benefits of AmigoCloud technologies: “We are really excited about our data processing capabilities, we can load massive amounts of vector data to mobile devices, thus maximizing the GPU of smartphones and tablets. Moreover, with vectorized base maps in our architecture, our mobile maps are super fast online AND offline!”.

Working with strategic clients and partners during the initial launch, AmigoCloud is now releasing its solution to large geospatial partners, private, commercial and local government agencies. AmigoCloud is formally presenting its mobile technologies at the ESRI User Conference on July 13 – 17th 2014, Booth – #2814
