Commercial UAV Expo to take place October 5-7, 2015 in Las Vegas

September 23, 2015 By LBSzone

SPAR Point Group’s Drone Conference and Trade Show Focuses on Key Commercial Industries

Commercial UAV Expo is a conference and exhibition focused exclusively on the commercial sUAS (small Unmanned Aerial Systems) market in North America in these key industries:

  • Surveying & Mapping
  • Civil Infrastructure
  • Mining
  • Construction
  • Process, Power & Utilities
  • Law Enforcement, Emergency Response and Search & Rescue (SAR)

The event will have more than 50 educational sessions, including keynotes, plenary panels and breakouts. Presenters, predominantly large-enterprise asset owners, will help attendees evaluate, implement and maximize drone technology for commercial operations.

When: October 5-7, 2015 | Schedule-At-A-Glance

Where: Caesars Palace, Las Vegas

Why: Small Unmanned Aerial Systems (sUAS) are completely changing how some data-driven industries are collecting critical information.  From the construction industry to process, power, utilities, agriculture, civil infrastructure and more, drone technology is disrupting traditional data collection methods, including for the “3Ds” – dirty, dull or dangerous work.  According to Drone Analyst Research, the commercial market for small UAVs that operate at 500 feet or below in the United States is expected to reach approximately $5 billion by 2019.

Who: Commercial UAV Expo will bring together more than 1,000 professionals who are using or planning to implement or expand UAV technology in a commercial operation alongside 100+ of the world’s top airframe manufacturers, components suppliers, software developers and service companies.  See the exhibitor list here.
